St. Joseph and Michael
Union City, NJ.
In 2017, the 1875 Saints Joseph and Michael Catholic Church of Union City, NJ, was severely damaged by fire and subsequently exposed it's plaster to water infiltration. In the same year, HPCS USA assessed the building's plaster ceilings and ribs - both were severely deteriorated and in need of stabilization and reinforcement. Within the 12,000 square feet ceiling, the 3 step consolidation* system stabilized the plaster on wood lath, and the ribs reinforced with the RE Aramid Gel.
